On the second Tuesday of each month, the Children's Museum of Atlanta hosts a free event to the community, called Target Free Second Tuesday. This event brings people from all over the Atlanta area, many of whom coming to the Museum for the first time. It's a very busy and very fun day for all involved.
The Museum is looking for fun-loving, high energy individuals to help with a number of opportunities on this day. Opportunities may include playing and helping our guests on the Museum floor or working alongside our art, science, or maker educators in a learning space.
2 shifts available (please indicate which shift you are interested in, or if you want to work both):
Shift 1 - 12:15 to 3:15
Shift 2 - 3:00 to 6:00
All applicants over the age of 18 must undergo a background check.

Description
Children’s Museum of Atlanta has a rich history, beginning in 1988 as a virtual "Museum Without Walls", providing innovative programming to schools and non-profits. In 2003, a permanent facility opened in thriving downtown Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park neighborhood. Since opening, Children’s Museum of Atlanta has become Atlanta’s premier source of fun-filled learning for young children, a recognized authority on children’s informal learning, a committed advocate on behalf of children, and a signature element in Atlanta’s cultural landscape. CMA receives 230,000 guests annually and has welcomed over 2.5 million visitors to date.
Children’s Museum of Atlanta is the only educational venue of its kind in Atlanta, presenting educational programs and exhibits designed for young children ages 0-8.
