This opportunity is great for those who are looking to fulfill internship requirements for college credits! Your work will be of great service to our teen members. The purpose of our Workforce Development program is to prepare teens for both the work force, as well as guiding them towards their post-high school goals. This includes career exploration, college tours, job shadowing experiences, mock interviews, and more! Below are additional details about the position:

• In conjunction with leadership, assist with teen recruitment initiatives to increase participation in workforce development programs
• Provide guidance to teen members about education and career pathways, financial literacy, resume/cover letter writing, mock interviews, personal branding, etc.
• Assist with the planning and execution of workforce-related activities
• Identify local organizations that need skilled employees for job placement for youth
• Develop and maintain public relations to increase the visibility of programs, services, and activities within the Workforce Development Center and the community
