Whether you are interested in short or long term, we have opportunities for all talents and passions. All it takes is a willingness to serve and have a great time with a full house in the beautiful mountains of Honduras.
Here are just a few of our volunteer needs:
-Teachers or Teacher's Aide: Our unique school, the Learning Center serves grades pre K-12. All of our students are bilingual. Classes have 3-4 students. It's a mix of homeschooling and unschooling, where the students are taught to be life-long learners, doing independent studies and project based learning. We are looking for teachers and aides for all subjects and grades, but have an outstanding need for English and Math teachers of all levels.
-Nanny: Working in the household helping care for our adorable babies and toddlers.
-Administrative Personnel: Working in our office. Helping with all of the behind the scenes work that helps our ministry run.
-Cook: Preparing meals for the house and household workers.
-General Help: If you have a heart for service, then there is most likely a spot for you here at EFP! There is always something to help with: playing with the kids, running errands, planning activities, helping with laundry, etc.
If you have a particular skill such as music, athletics, art, and/or dance, please let us know so we can discuss an opportunity to put together a workshop or class.

Mission Statement
Eternal Family Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Public Charity, provides a forever family to orphaned children in Honduras. By providing a safe, loving home, spiritual leadership, balanced nutrition, bilingual education and proper healthcare we are breaking the cycle of poverty that hundreds of thousands of children in Honduras are born into. EFP means so much more than just providing a meal or a place of momentary refuge. EFP provides a complete life support system for our girls.
Description
With more than 80 percent of the population living below the poverty line in Honduras, many families struggle for food, clothing, and shelter. The circumstances many of Honduras’ children were born into haven’t given them a fair chance to be educated, cared for, and, more importantly, shown the love of Jesus. We are providing a loving family to girls who have been abused, abandoned and neglected. Each girl at EFP has their own struggles and pains of abandonment and loneliness. Knowing that only Jesus has the ability to heal them, we rest in the assurance that His love and compassion reaches far beyond what we can do in our own strength. Through prayer we ask for healing of deep wounds and the miraculous love of the Father to transform each life. Our mission is to pull them out of the despair they once lived in and provide the education and life tools necessary for each girl to live to their full potential as a Child of God. We are equipping them with the needed skills to walk away from hopelessness and into the open arms of Jesus. In this way, we break the cycle of poverty and abandonment. We are committed to providing long-term care and support to each girl, ensuring that they are able to receive secondary education and attend a university to pursue their dreams with the necessary education.
