Bristol Hospice - California, LLC

We are looking for volunteers with a desire to give the precious gift of companionship and emotional support to hospice patients and their families in the Turlock area.

Hospice volunteers provide companionship and a supportive presence to patients and their families. Volunteers can make visits in patients' homes and/or nursing facilities. Often, volunteers will read to patients, play music for patients, exchange stories with patients, or share a special skill or talent with patients. Our volunteers would not provide any medical care, but simply be available with an open mind and an open heart for someone ending their journey.

You will be provided extensive training and support in your service to others.

If interested, please contact Marla, Volunteer Coordinator, at 209-384-1415 or by email at Marla.Henderson@bristolhospice.com.
