Hospice volunteer - Chicago and Western Suburbs
- A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

To provide our hospice patients a compassionate and empathetic presence. Possibly you could do so while giving the patient's caregiver a 2-3 hour break. Hospice patients often like to be read to, have someone to watch a movie or TV with. Play music, cards or have someone to 'just be there'.
What a wonderful gift you could give to someone , who is in an 'end of life journy' than your presence. Our patients are so warmly moved, by the knowledge that a 'volunteer' agrees to spend some time with them and if possible, listen to their lifes stories.
We work with not only your schedule, but will keep you within the area and disstance you feel is most convenient.
