This volunteer opportunity is pretty fun and very simple. If you are up for the task, we need two people who can, listen and wrtie fast and acurately. We call this person our Spotter/Runner. Our auctioneer will call out numbers while our donors raise their bid cards. You will have to listen to the aucioneer and write down the bid numbers called out.
You will have a 10 minute run through with more explanation and instructions day-of. You will have the opportunity to enjoy the evening before and after the bidding.

We coordinate volunteer services, raise funds, and provide essential supplies to our international field partners in Tanzania. Description
Orphans Africa (OA) is a 501 (c) 3 tax-exempt charitable organization that began in 2007 with the coming together of three ordinary people whose desire was to build peace between nations by providing assistance to those who are most vulnerable. Together they traveled to Tanzania where malaria and the AIDS epidemic has left victims of all ages. Over 3.1 million children have been orphaned. Working hand-in-hand with grassroots non-governmental organizations in Tanzania, OA provides the orphans with education and basic necessities, and provides the widows with the training and opportunities they need to become self-sufficient. We believe that by educating children, we are bringing hope, not only to today, but to the future.
