Interfaith Caregivers' vision is neighbor helping neighbors. If that is your call, then consider helping one of our super seniors. We are in need of reliable, friendly volunteers to drive aging or disabled adults who live in our communities to medical appointments, work, grocery stores and senior centers. We also need grocery shoppers and people to provide companionship to seniors. If you are interested in #givinglocal, then we are interested in helping you volunteer. Interfaith Caregivers facilitates independent living by providing supportive volunteer services for people who are 65+ or have disabilities.
Description
Our tagline, "It’s More than Just a Ride," captures the reality that our services are a lifeline for senior and disabled passengers with limited mobility and diminished community connections. In providing free supportive services seven days a week, we facilitate independent living for nearly 300 clients in Haddon Heights and Haddonfield and the adjacent communities by providing access to critical services, including medical appointments, shopping, and community programming. In addition, our companionship, and respite-care visits allow much-needed contact, helping our clients feel connected to the communities in which they live.
