ORGANIZATION: TAR RIVER LAND CONSERVANCY

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

We will be working to prepare a recently acquired piece of land to be opened to the public. Public spaces are important for the local community to get outside and appreciate the natural wonders all around us. You will be able to visit the area once it’s open and see your work for years to come. All volunteers receive training about proper carrying, use, safety and storage of tools and about how to build a sustainable trail - and about the conservation efforts on this land and why they are important. Note that you will be required to sign a liability release form to participate. A parent/guardian must sign for participants under the age of 18. We look forward to seeing you!
