We Players needs some help. Maybe you?
You get a thrill taking a peak backstage. You thrive on chaos.
We Players needs a volunteer to take on a mighty big role - we need someone to manage our warehouse on Pier 54 in San Francisco! We estimate 5-15 hours a month. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Monthly goals and priorities will be agreed to with the Managing Director. We ask for a six month commitment.
Responsibilities
- Organize supplies, sets, costumes, etc. in our warehouse on the pier
- Help with pre and post production loading in and out
- Create an inventory of company assets
- As needed, take vehicles to the mechanic for oil changes, smog checks, etc.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 30lbs
- Must work well with no supervision and be results focused
- It's theatre - things change all the time. Flexibility is a must. A sense of humor is helpful
What's in it for you?
- A chance to be involved with one of the most dynamic theatre companies in the Bay Area, working with actors, designers, musicians, etc.
- Tickets to productions
- The endless gratitude of the We Players theatre company
Interested? Please contact our volunteer coordinator at debbie at weplayers.org

Mission Statement
We Players presents site-integrated performance events that transform public spaces into realms of participatory theater. Description
Our company’s site-integrated focus and commitment to engage with history and ecology, build community, and use art to foster a personal connection with place has led to unprecedented partnerships with the National Park Service and California State Parks. We produce a variety of performance and community engagement programs that are accessible to the diverse population of regular park visitors, and also draw local visitors to park sites specifically to experience our work.
