Everyone has a talent to give or a gift to share. If you're interested in touching the lives of others, consider becoming a hospice volunteer for AseraCare. Our volunteers provide care and services to patients every single day. you may volunteer to spend your time with a patient or help out in an administrative capacity.
What do Volunteers do?
Visit patients and families, and provide a "listening ear"
Provide respite relief for family caregivers for brief periods of time
Listen to patients' remembrances
Hold a hand
Give a hug

Description
When a diagnosis is "terminal", the most often asked question is, "how much time do I have?"While the answer is not the same for everyone, hospice helps to make the most of the time left by providing support, comfort, and compassion to patients and their families. AseraCare provides valuable medical care as well as emotional and spiritual support. We also assist patients and their families with end of life decisions so that the are prepared for a loved one passing.
