Northern Kentucky University (NKU) has generously offered to donate ALL furniture from one of their dorms that is being redecorated to New Life Furniture. However, we need your help to collect these donations!
New Life Furniture Bank is Cincinnati's ONLY furniture bank, providing new and gently used furniture to people in need. To learn more about our organization, visit www.nlfurniture.org.
We need help packing up our trucks (at NKU's Norse Hall, click link for map) with furniture from 85 rooms of an NKU dorm on two dates THIS MONTH. All of the furniture donated will be going directly to the homes of individuals and families overcoming homelessness and other devastating circumstances.
We are asking all of you to SIGN UP BELOW for a shift (or two!) atNKU on July 29th and/or 31st. This will require being able to lift and move furniture (children over 12, with adult supervision, are permitted to participate). For more details, call us at 513-313-0530.

To give "new life" to empty homes by providing furniture to those people overcoming homelessness and living in extreme poverty.
Description
New Life Furniture bank (NLF) is ministry that focuses on collecting gently used furniture and delivering it to families and individuals in need in the Greater Cincinnati area. Those served by NLF have overcome homelessness, domestic abuse, house fires, eviction or many other situations and are beginning a New Life. By Fulfilling this basic need and treating people with kindess, respect and dignity, NLF provies the opportunity for these families to live comfortably in their homes.
Our vision is to deliver a missing piece to end the cycle of homelessness.
We are currently the only furniture bank in Cincinnati serving many local shelters and agencies.
