On Commodities Day(s), we accept a delivery of food from The Food Bank. This food comes wrapped and stacked on wooden pallets. The Commodities Day Assistants will work together to unpack, organize and bag the delivered food. Once this is complete, the volunteers will then pass the food out to our clients and help them load the food into the vehicles. The volunteers that assist during Commodities Day are a huge help!
Commodities Day Assistants must be 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED. Exceptions to age may be made by Volunteer Coordinator and Immediate Assistant Case Aide. We ask for a time commitment of at least four hours. Participation is contingent upon background check clearance.
Commodities Day(s) Hours:
FIRST and THIRD Tuesday of EVERY Month: 9:00am - 2:00pm
