This summer and fall the Montavilla Farmers Market will be offering teen cooking workshops. They will be free and open to the public. In each workshop, participants will learn to cook one dish using fresh market produce. Afterwards they will get to eat their creations.
The goal of the workshops is to teach teens some basic cooking skills and increase their confidence in cooking and using fresh ingredients.
Volunteers will assist the teacher and help behind the scenes. Shifts are from 10-noon and 11:45-2 p.m. Email volunteer@montavillamarket.org to learn more.
