On July 29th, 12-4 pmASI will be work with 15-20 children at the Community Action Day event at the Nurse Family Partnership/ Mabel Morris Home Visit Program Office at 1080 N. Delaware Ave, 300D, Philadelphia, PA 19125.
We will be engaging families in creating a miniature city, that could be built upon throughout the day. Instead of only sending the houses home with the kids, we think that it might be neat to keep the whole project together as a sort of installation!
We could cut windows and doors then with glue, crayons and construction paper, students could create houses . We could also make paper doll puppets on popsicle sticks and transform two pocket folders into houses so paperwork collected from this event can be put in the folder as well as the dolls.
