Do you love Science, Technology, Engineering and Math? Would you enjoy showing children and their parents how to use STEM gadgets and equipment? Then this opportunity is for you!
Starting in September of 2017 the Kennedale Library will hold a once a month STEM Club for Families. These Saturday workshops will allow parents and children to become familiar with STEM concepts, complete simple challenges and bond with one another over each 2 hour session.
You will work with the Children's Services Specialist to develop activities, determine needed equipment and other resources necessary for successful events.
Approximately 5 hours of service would be needed each month, including the workshop, set-up and planning.
