JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Youth Tutoring Program (YTP) is searching for a Video Production Intern to create a 2.5 to 3 minute video about our program. The intern will document the work of YTP in a manner which is compelling and generates increased support for the program. This is an opportunity for a film student or emerging filmmaker to obtain real-world, hands-on experience both in production and media development.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
YTP is an innovative and successful after-school program for vulnerable elementary, middle and high school students who live in six low and mixed-income housing communities in Seattle. Begun in 1991 as a partnership with the Seattle Housing Authority, the tutoring centers provide youth with a safe, positive and stimulating environment to explore learning and experience academic success. INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with YTP supervisor to film activities at tutoring sites and staff interviews.
Edit footage into 2.5-3 minute video that tells story of YTP.
Work with YTP supervisor to develop video story line.
Complete finished video by end of December 2017.

INTERN REQUIREMENTS:

Previous experience creating professional-level videos.
Solid experience using video editing software and equipment.
Strong communication skills.
Interns must own/have access to all software and equipment they will need to produce video.
