Give your time to patients in need of a companion. THE MEDICAL TEAM Hospice has patients all of Genesee County. One of our biggest number of patients is at Vicinia Gardens Assisted Living in Fenton. As a volunteer you would provide companionship, or emotional support to the patient. There are many leisure activities you can pursue with your companion such as; go outside for a walk, paint nails, read books, watch tv/movie, look at photo/albums, listen to music, arts/crafts, painting and engage in conversation.They also enjoy animal therapy, music therapy and art therapy if available. Help make a difference in someone's life and learn something new about yourself.
