We are seeking organized and passionate volunteers to help us execute our annual fundraising dinner! Volunteer roles range from registration desk support where we will check-in and check-out guests; silent, dessert, and live auction support; and coat checking. Skills with databases, particularly the Greater Giving software and other fundraising software a plus!

By being a volunteer at our A Night of Rest fundraising dinner, you will get be behind-the-scenes brings at an exciting community event that brings together over 400 business professionals to raise awareness and funding for our cause. Our dinner fundraising event includes a silent, dessert and live auction. The funding raised is invested in our mission to provide pathways to freedom, safety and hope for sex trafficking victims in our community through our prevention efforts, individualized intervention activities, and restoration. Your support can make a difference!

Mission Statement

Our mission at REST is to provide pathways to freedom, safety, and hope for young women and girls victimized by sex trafficking and people involved in the sex trade.

Description

REST envisions a community free from sexual exploitation and one that is inhospitable to traffickers. Uniquely, REST provides a holistic approach to care, providing opportunities for recovery and healing physically, emotionally, and spiritually in a way that is individualized and respects the unique strengths, needs, and culture of each person. REST also provides a continuum of care that spans from 24-hour crisis intervention to long-term restoration within one that spans from 24-hour crisis intervention to long-term restoration within one organization. REST has connected with over 1500 individuals, and has helped over 100 young women exit the sex trade for one year or more, with many more on track to reach that particular milestone.
