Kites Take Flight for Childhood Cancer is free and open to the community event to raise awareness of childhood/young adult cancer. Guests may bring their kites or purchase white, "frustrationless" kites for $5. Kites can be decorated and entered in a chance to win the "Creative Kite Competition."
Other activities include:

Description
Lending Hearts addresses the need for assisting pediatric cancer patients & families in surviving treatment. Programs & services promote wellness, community and emotional support both in treatment and beyond. The vision is to embrace the immediate, enhance the possibilities and enrich future survival emotionally, sharing and lending of one’s heart.
