Queen for a Day

The For a Day Foundation hosts themed parties for children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Our goal is to make them feel like a kid again! With our Queen for a Day and Hero for a Day events, we bring smiles and laughter to kids that haven't smiled or laughed in weeks.

Our local chapter director establishes the date and time of our hospital visit and we provide all the supplies and volunteers. We need volunteers to attend with us and interact with the kids. These visits typically take place Monday - Friday, 10-5pm, for 2 hours.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age to participate. This is a mandatory requirement, via hospital policy. We cannot work around this.
