The Mike Bend Show is an adult sketch comedy show that imitates real world topics and current events. It features a broad array of #SizeDiversity in line with our #MoreofPLUS program. It is reminiscent of classic shows such as Dave Chappel and In Living Color.
$10 of each ticket sold through our website will be donated to PLUS Positive to help us advocate for size diversity in the Entertainment Industry!
The Mike Bend Show features several characters such as Rufus, Medi Bruer, Sugar Dick Ricky, and Reverend Jacob Bishop Shoulder Lean. These characters are outrageous, flamboyant, and endearing. So sit tight and prepare yourself for wrenching comedy...the next best thing since Saturday Night Live.
There will have two showtimes. When signing up for this volunteer opportunity, please indicate which volunteer slot you are interested in rendering your services.

PLUS Positive (PLUS+) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization based in Atlanta, Ga. Our mission is to build body confidence and self esteem in plus size men, women, and teens to help realize their full potential. We also advocate for size diversity in the entertainment industry to create more job opportunities for plus size talent. We pursue this mission through a few programs:
See Positive, Women of Confidence, & PLUS Positive Men builds self esteem and brighter futures for teens and adults through free life skills training. These programs include interactive workshops, health education, mentoring from peers, business, and community leaders, and advocacy through social media, and visual promotions.
#MoreOfPlus Size Diversity campaign encourages decision makers in the industries to create more opportunities for plus size talent, as well as encourage plus size talent to pursue their dreams.
We look for volunteers who exude "PLUS Positivity(tm)" which is simply a state of being CONFIDENT, CARING, ADMIRABLE, and AMBITIOUS. If you care enough to help those in need please volunteer with us!
