As an Administrative Assistant Volunteer you’ll work closely with the SMEEC Education Manager to help manage records and materials for SMEEC as well as conduct computer research to assist with program development, answering frequently asked guest questions and assist with the preparation of program materials. Assistance with gift shop inventory is also needed and available should skills and interests allow. Shifts are typically 4 - 6 hours, year round. Available shifts are Wednesdays through Sundays.

Description
ACNC at South Mountain operates the South Mountain Environmental Education Center in partnership with the City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department. The facility is a hub for guests exploring the park/preserve that it calls home as well as a gathering place for the community to learn about plants, animals, natural history and the conservation needs of the Sonoran Desert. It also is a popular destination for school field trips.
