Established in 2005, Our Lady of Kea’au is a Franciscan place of prayer, refuge and recreation situated along Oahu’s Waianae Coast. It is equipped with meeting rooms, a commercial certified kitchen and recreational amenities.
Our Lady of Kea’au is available to community, religious and non-profit organizations for meetings, retreats and celebrations.
The ministry also provides outreach services to the homeless and the disadvantaged. Some of these activities involve direct contact with homeless individuals and others are important supportive functions.
Volunteers are needed to garden, maintain grounds, and clean cabins. Volunteers are oriented and trained, criminal and personal background checks are required upon acceptance into the program.

Mission Statement
Our Mission We are a Catholic Healthcare System in Hawaii, sponsored by the Sisters of St. Francis, committed to creating healthy communities in the Spirit of Christ’s Healing Ministry.
Description
Requirements: HOSPICE VOLUNTEERS - St. Francis Hospice was the first hospice program in Hawaii, and is the largest service area within the St. Francis Healthcare System. We are looking for volunteers who feel the calling and privilege to help their community. We have many settings available and will work with your schedule. Training is partially online from the comfort of your own home and a 4-hour in-person training orientation every couple of months. For students, this is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a healthcare system but still have flexibility for work and studies. For seniors and retirees, this you can donate as many hours as you feel called to give. Our seniors enjoy giving back to the community and being part of our St. Francis Ohana.
