This opportunity could take place on your choice of Monday OR Thursday from 3:45-5 in our learning center at Central and Osborn.

Like all of our scholars this 6th grader is academically moticated and capable and just needs an extra hand in making sure she understands all the material presented in her rigorous program.

The ideal volunteer would be able to commit at least once a week for one academic year.

You can be a junior or senior in high school, or you can be in college, a working professional or retired! all we ask is that you're consistent.

Description

Boys Hope Girls Hope is a non-profit, multi-denominational and multi-ethnic organization, which provides scholarships to meet all of the needs for academically capable youth who may be held back by invisible barriers within their families or community.

Our residential and community-based programs offer comprehensive services and support systems that nurture the self-confidence, discipline and focus required to test children's academic limits and allow them to achieve dreams they once thought were out of their reach.

All scholars receive full educational scholarships to private college-prep schools, mentoring, tutoring, access to multiple enrichment activities and support through college.
