I would like to bring the School Garden to all students. We are in need of volunteers who would be able to conduct mini Science/Gardening lessons (with teachers) to all grades. It would be ideal to have one person for each grade level and enough time bi weekly to teach the whole grade level in a morning or afternoon.
For example, one volunteer to help the teacher complete the Science/Outdoor Living/Healthy Eating. Each mini lesson should last no longer than 30-40 mins. The volunteer can sign up for one morning/afternoon to help teach 4 classes. We are open to one hour volunteer sessions where different volunteers can switch out or preferably one volunteer to stay for the 2 hours slot.

Lead Mine is a school K-5 with about 500 students in total. Lead Mine is an all inclusive school of students of all abilities and needs.
The vision for Lead Mine is to create a place where all students are engaged in creative, collaborative learning which requires critical and independent 21st century learners.
