Starry Night NC Triangle 5K is a walk/run followed by a powerful lantern lighting ceremony to honor our Stars - children & teens diagnosed with a brain tumor. All proceeds will go to funding research and family support services through the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.
This event will feature a kids' 50-yard dash, a 5K walk/run, food, vendors, bouncy houses, games & activities and a lantern lighting ceremony.

The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation's mission is to care for children with brain tumor's (our Stars) and their families along their journey, cure childhood brain tumors, and help survivors and families thrive.
Description
To accomplish our mission, we aim to:
- Fund research to find the cause of and cure for pediatric brain tumors
- Increase public awareness about the severity and prevalence of one of the deadliest forms of childhood cancer
- Aid in the early detection and treatment of this disease
- Support a national database on all primary brain tumors
- Provide educational and emotional support for patients and families
