Come to a Volunteer Class to learn about volunteering at Clark County Wetlands Park! Join a great team of committed staff and volunteers to help connect our community to nature.
Volunteers are needed year-round, seven days a week and we have opportunities to work inside OR outside, interacting with visitors of all ages or working on your own.
This program provides an overview of how Wetlands Park came to be, what purposes the Park serves, programs and events we offer, and a tour of the Nature Center.
The Wetlands Park volunteer program was the winner of the 2015 Volunteer Program of the Year by Outside Las Vegas Foundation. Volunteers are needed all year round, and you can choose whether you work inside or outside. As a volunteer, you will receive invitations to volunteer-only events and outings and training in identifying plants and animals.
You can decide whether to become a volunteer either before or after you attend this program. All volunteers must undergo a Clark County Background Check. Youth ages 12-15 may volunteer with a guardian; youth ages 16-17 may volunteer independently with guardian permission. A commitment of 8 hours per month for at least six months is requested.
Please RSVP by email to: wetlands@clarkcountynv.gov or call (702) 455-7522.
