The Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation was recently chosen as the official non-profit partner for Race178's Reno 10- Miler that is happening Sunday August 13th in downtown Reno. We are looking for volunteers to help with the race. Sunday August 13, 6:00am to 9:00am - Course marshals - Making sure the runners stay on the course. Very simple volunteering opportunity. Volunteers will receive the same SWAG as racers (t-shirt, free lunch, discounts, etc.) Plus, TMPF will give all volunteers a Parks Foundation shirt, and all volunteers would be entered into a drawing for a $200 Scheels gift card (minimum 25 volunteers needed).
Let me know if this is something you, your friends and family may be interested in doing. We could use as much help as possible. My email is matt@tmparksfoundation.org.
