ORGANIZATION: JVS, Jewish Vocational Service

Volunteer in a Workplace Communication class for beginner level English speakers who are employees of Dancing Deer Baking Co. Work with one to two students who need extra support. Training will be provided.

Classes are held on Tuesday mornings from 8:30-12:00. Plenty of free parking is available on-site.

Skills/Qualifications:

Proficient in English required.

Interest in the immigrant community in our workplaces.

Sensitivity to cultural and linguistic differences

Speaking slowly to non-native speakers of English.
Related experience is helpful, but not required.
