The 1st annual Highland Fall Festival is a family fun celebration of the harvest. Highland (twp) games with a fall theme (pumpkin toss, apple sling shot, etc), an artist market, chili cook-off, kids activities, beer tent, music and so much more!!!!!
Volunteers are needed in all areas!!!
Kid Zone helpers 12-5pm
Registration and set-up help from 9am-12pm
Games referees and helpers 12-3pm
Chili Cook-off helpers 12-4pm
Art Market help 12-5pm
Take down and clean up help 4-6pm
When responding if you would like to volunteer for a specific area please include it in your response otherwise you will be randomly assigned a position and it could rotate.

The Huron Valley Council for the Arts enhances the cultural life of the region through programs that enrich and entertain, through education in the arts, and through support of artists.
Description
HVCA is a 501(c) (3) not for profit organization registered with the State of Michigan and the federal government. Founded in 1999, the council is an organization dedicated to the belief that community life is enriched and enhanced by the arts in many forms.
We are committed to working with established visual and performing arts programs and groups that exist in and around Western Oakland County. The council serves to form a uniting voice for support for the arts and supports activities and programs that meet the needs of each unique community represented.
As a vibrant, thriving art center t he organization is widely respected as an enabler for the development and growth of artists and performers, providing outlets in all media. HVCA regularly offers outstanding exhibits, performances and educational classes that have broad appeal across the full spectrum of audiences.
Funding for the council work comes from membership fees, donations, fundraising events and grants from state, corporate and private sources. Monetary or in- kind contributions are welcomed from individuals, groups, estates, businesses, charities, and private sources.
The HVCA has a volunteer Board of Directors with a part time Executive Director and Office Assistant.
