We are currently gearing up for our Summerfest Membership Drive! LPB’s Summerfest pledge drive begins August 4 th and runs through August 20 th, and we are recruiting 12 phone volunteers for the phone bank, each live night. Volunteers will be featured on live television and answer phones to take pledges from viewers. Volunteers can select the number of nights they would like to work. All nights are not required.
Live nights are listed below with the programs and times.
Monday, August 7 th - Antiques Roadshow from 7 - 8:30pm
Wednesday, August 9 th - Best of Trains Around North America from 7 - 10pm
Monday, August 14 th - The Vietnam War from 7 - 8pm and Fats Domino: Walkin’ Back to New Orleans from 8 - 9:30pm
Tuesday, August 15 th - First Cousins: Cajun and Creole Music from 7 - 8:30pm and The Flying Vet of Lafayette from 8:30 - 9:30pm
Wednesday, August 16 th - Mississippi Free State of Jones from 7 - 8pm and Elvis ’56 from 8 - 9:30pm
