Do you want to make a difference in the community? Are you looking for a volunteer position? Hospice Kingston is looking for Visiting Hospice volunteers!
Hospice Kingston provides compassionate holistic care for people with a life-limiting illness, their caregivers and families, and those who are experiencing grief and loss. Visiting Hospice volunteers provide compassionate care and support to clients, and provide breaks for their caregivers and families. Volunteers spend a few hours a week with a client, providing companionship and comfort.
We are actively seeking volunteers who speak French and other languages in addition to English.
The benefits of volunteering with Hospice Kingston is that you gain experience in supportive care with a fast-growing organization, you make a positive impact on the quality of life of the people we serve and their families, and you help build a more caring, generous community.
Please contact Joanna for more information about how to get involved: 613-542-5013 ext. 2.
