Help ignite curiosity and welcome visitors into the amazing world of exploration at Pacific Science Center as a Science Interpretation Program (SIP) Volunteer! On any given day you can build a rocket and explore the stars, take a trip to the tropics, or travel back in time to walk with the dinosaurs. Essential duties include engaging with guests and creating positive experiences during their time visiting the Science Center, and providing skilled and accurate interpretation of the Science Center’s many exhibits and activities.

SIP Volunteers will also help guests navigate the innovative suite of experiences that the new What is Reality? exhibition (opening October 2017) is bringing to the Science Center by facilitating guests’ exploration of the cutting-edge digital and analog interactive experiences that technological innovators will showcase here. Volunteer shifts are available weekdays mornings and afternoons. Additionally, we ask for at least a 6 month commitment to volunteering with Pacific Science Center.
