Serenity Hospice Care of Peachtree City, GA
Serenity Hospice Care of Peachtree City is looking to recruit 5 new volunteers, especialy male volunteers. Our current volunteer base currently has no male volunteers.At the moment we have a great need for male volunteers for our male patients that feel more comfortable with a male as a volunteer. However we are still looking for all genders of volunteers.
Here are services that our volunteers can provide:
Some Things Volunteers Can Do with Patients (Direct Care):- Go for a walk
- Play Cards
- Write Letter
- Pray
- Arts and Craft
- Light Housework
- Care for animals
- listen to music
- remember special days
- plant flowers
- sing together
- light yard work
- run errands
- listen
- light meal prep
- play games
- Read Books
- Bereavement Support
- etc.
Things Volunteers Can do (non-direct Care)
- Assist in the Serenity office
- Bake Goods
- Help host events at Assisted Living Facilities
- Help out at community events
- Make Birthday Cards
- etc.
