Serenity Hospice Care of Peachtree City, GA

Serenity Hospice Care of Peachtree City is looking to recruit 5 new volunteers, especialy male volunteers. Our current volunteer base currently has no male volunteers.At the moment we have a great need for male volunteers for our male patients that feel more comfortable with a male as a volunteer. However we are still looking for all genders of volunteers.

Here are services that our volunteers can provide:

Some Things Volunteers Can Do with Patients (Direct Care):
  • Go for a walk
  • Play Cards
  • Write Letter
  • Pray
  • Arts and Craft
  • Light Housework
  • Care for animals
  • listen to music
  • remember special days
  • plant flowers
  • sing together
  • light yard work
  • run errands
  • listen
  • light meal prep
  • play games
  • Read Books
  • Bereavement Support
  • etc.

Things Volunteers Can do (non-direct Care)

  • Assist in the Serenity office
  • Bake Goods
  • Help host events at Assisted Living Facilities
  • Help out at community events
  • Make Birthday Cards
  • etc.
