Volunteers are needed to support the Third Annual Harvest Festival at Martial Cottle Park! The event will include farm tours, pumpkin painting and carnival activities, historical ranch activities, food vendors, live music, a corn maze, fresh produce for sale, square dancing, face painting, and much more!
There are many special event volunteer positions to choose from including set up, tear down, activity stations and more. Each are integral to the success of the festival! Please let us know your top choices when you register. Some positions have special requirements or preferences (ex: ability to lift 50 lbs.) Volunteers will receive a confirmation once they are registered and an event reminder prior to the Harvest Festival.
All volunteers should bring a water bottle, sunscreen and hat. Snacks for volunteers will be available, but please bring a lunch or money to purchase lunch from the food vendors.

You will be able to receive community service hours for this event.

You may volunteer all day in the same position or different job positions:
Carnival Zone - pumpkin relay race, pumpkin bowling
Farm Stand - corn maze, pot a plant, raffle, hay rides
Face Painting Attendant
Cattle Coral - roping, branding, haybale pulley, milking

Description
Since 1924, when Stevens Creek County Park was established, people have given their time and talents to help make Santa Clara County Parks special places to visit. In 2010, nearly 2000 volunteers donated over 40,000 hours of service to a variety of projects and programs.
