Supervisor Dave Cortese and the Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation Department are teaming up once again for the 8 th annual Day on the Bay Multicultural Festival on October 8, 2017, from 10 am to 3pm at Alviso Marina County Park.
This fun-filled festival along the South Bay shores of Alviso features a health resource fair, a festive celebration of our diverse cultures. Other activities will include free pumpkins for kids, music, entertainment, free kayak rides, free hamburgers and veggie burgers, and of course the Cortese Zucchini Car Derby.
Not many residents know about the historic waterfront town of Alviso. Day on the Bay is "Alviso’s most-attended event," according to the San Jose Mercury News.
Also, for the 2 nd year in a row, we will host 'Bike to the Bay,’ a community bike ride along the Guadalupe River Trail from downtown to Day on the Bay!
