About

Almaden Quicksilver School Program Docents: The New Almaden Quicksilver Mining Museum education program teaches 4 th grade students about our local mercury mining history and its importance to the California gold rush through a museum tour and activities.

Additional Requirements: Following the completion of training, docents are asked to volunteer at least 1 shift per week for the semester or once every other week for the full school year. Minimum yearly commitment is 40 hours.

Hours: Mondays-Thursdays 9:30am-12:30pm
