Our patients really look forward to ice cream sundaes on Sundays! Every Sunday, from 2-4pm, our volunteers load up the ice cream cart, and go room to room offering patients a tasty afternoon treat and a little friendly conversation. This is a great opportunity for individuals, small groups, or families! Since you will be entering patient rooms, a background check is required, for which there is a $20 fee. You can complete all facets of the training/orientation/background check online and be volunteering within a week. Description
We are a new, 45-bed rehabilitation center on the shores of Sloan's Lake in Denver. We look forward to bringing in volunteers to help our residents have a more pleasant stay while they're with us.
