We are looking for English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers for our free, open courses. The refugees and immgirants we work with often have to sit on wait lists for ESL courses around Boston (sometimes for as long as a year). Our program helps fill this gap and allows our students a quicker path to self sufficiency in the United States- language ability is their greatest road block to finding a job and navigating life in Boston! Classes are held Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center in Roxbury. We are searching for volunteers with ESL teaching experience. This is an opportunity to make a huge impact on the life of refugees and immigrants in Boston!
