Volunteers are needed to verify the order and straighten books/items on the shelves. Document where you left off for staff/volunteers to continue. This is an ongoing volunteer opportunity that can be accomplished by individuals or sponsored groups from the community. The time commitment is at your discretion with flexible hours. Our existing volunteers work from one to three hours a week to accomplish this library task. Knowledge of the Dewey Decimal System is a plus; however, training is provided.
A volunteer application and background check authorization needs to be completed. An orientation and tour is provided to all new volunteers.
