Mission Statement
To provide a program that will influence, impact and change the lives of our next generation. To promote effective and efficient early intervention by encouraging young people to develop to their fullest potential and accepting new growth as leaders.
Description
Touch A Life [TAL] program target young people from all ethic and cultural backgrounds. Young people who live in low to middle income families or anyone that believes a leader start by making positive changes in one’s self and have a desire to learn their role as a youth leader in their community.
TAL program is dedicated to providing FREE healthy summer lunches to community children and we offer a summer leadership camp for school age children that will allow young people to perform orderly and effectively out of school as in school. We focus in areas such as youth leadership, building self-esteem, anti - bullying and bring into being sense of self-worth. We strongly encourage young people to understand they are our future leaders
We want to provide a safe environment to promote a program that is agreeable and attainable for young people to grow and take pride in their community. Youth will meet in group setting or one-on-one mentoring with a team of mentors/adult advisers as we provide a surrounding of leadership skills exercises that will help to ensure that each youth will be guided toward a positive pathway to learning, with a focus to build a stronger community as we work side-by-side with our youths.
