The Rock, Roll & Run is a family friendly 5K that is presented by the the YMCA of Greater Kansas City and Providence Medical Center. Providence Medical Center will also host a Community Health Fair, Kids Dash, Local Bands, and fun! Proceeds benefit the Providence YMCA/Ball Family Center’s Cancer Survivorship program as well as the YMCA scholarship program.
Volunteers are need to act as parking attendants, kids run supervisors and race course monitors. Volunteers may also be needed at the finish line and to help with awards.
The Schedule is as follows:
Registration - 7:15-8 a.m.
Race Start - 8 a.m.
Kids Run - 9:30 a.m.
Awards - 9:45 a.m.
Community Health Fair & Local Bands: 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Volunteers are asked to report at 7:00AM to recieve their volunteer postion. They will be assigned on a first come first serve basis. Volunteers are need until 10:00AM.
Dress is casual. Wear something that approriate for the weather since it is an outdoor event. Water will be avialable for volunteers.
Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older to work the course.
Youth volunteers (12-16 years old) are welcome to assist with the kids run.
