The Lincoln Park Zoo Challenge is an after-hours, all-adult adventure at Lincoln Park Zoo! Dress your team in costumes, solve clues and master challenges while learning about different aspects of the zoo and its animals, and compete for awesome prizes. Prizes will be awarded to first, second, and third place winners as well as for Best Group Costume. Volunteers will be given a "STAFF" t-shirt to wear during the event. We hope you can join us for this exciting evening! Date: Friday, August 25 Shift time: 5-10:30pm Age minimum: This opportunity is open to volunteers ages 18+ Qualifications: We are seeking volunteers that can move quickly from station to station, vocal, positive and have a good understanding of the zoo layout. Please note that if you are requesting a specific station when you sign up for your shift, we will do our best to place you there. However, we may need to place you where you are needed during the event depending upon the number of volunteers signed up for this event! We are looking for up to 40 volunteers to assist us at the different areas listed below during the event. You will be assigned to one of these stations.

• Clue Stop Volunteers
  • These volunteers will help administer challenges (a 3-5 minute activity) at the various clue stops across the zoo. It is important that they pay attention and treat all teams fairly as this is a race with prizes. For many of these clue stops, there will be an Educational team member alongside the volunteer to help instruct the volunteer on the challenge and how to interact with participants. Volunteer instructions will be provided for each clue stop.
• Post-Race Set-Up/Check
  • These volunteers will be stationed at the "finish line" and check in teams as they complete the hunt. For each clue stop in the hunt, certain things are required of the team. The teams will show all of these items to the checkers who will eventually calculate their overall finish time.
