Ambassadors serve as the face of the Center in the community. Ambassadors are outgoing, approachable and enthusiastic promoters of our cause who are trained to make appropriate referrals to our services while spreading the word about what we do. TO APPLY, VISIT OCRCC.ORG/VOLUNTEER.
The Ambassadors program is a meaningful way for volunteers to support the Center, even if they have only limited time to give. Join us in building a stronger, healthier community!

Mission Statement
Our mission is to stop sexual violence and its impact through support, education and advocacy. The Orange County Rape Crisis Center envisions a world free of sexual violence and all other forms of oppression.
Description
The Orange County Rape Crisis Center has served the Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Hillsborough, and surrounding communities since 1974. We provide 24-hour crisis intervention services to survivors of sexual violence. Our services include our 24-Hour Help Line, support groups, workshops, and therapy referrals. Additionally, the Center offers educational programs for both raising awareness about sexual violence and teaching prevention skills.
