Looking for a sewing and/or knitting club and/or individual to create special projects for hospice patients. This opportunity can be done from home or at our office in Nashville by the airport.
In the past we have had groups make lap blankets, small stuffed animals, mittens/gloves/hats, and other sweet mementos we can provide to patients receiving hospice care. This opportunity allows for you to provide a wonderful service to patients that enjoy the little luxury while receiving treatment.
This volunteer opportunity does not have an age or background check requirement. Should the group providing the momentos be interested in delivery of their goods to patients, this can be arranged with the volunteer coordinator.
Volunteer coordinator is willing to pick-up special projects from your location as long as the address is in Davidson or Williamson County.
