We are looking for lively individuals to help lead volunteers in packaging 500,000 meals for hungry seniors in the Minneapolis community. This event will be taking place on Sunday, August 6th from 6am-6pm. There are three different shift options available that you can register for. 6:00am-12:00pm - Morning Shift (Breakfast provided) 12:00pm-6:00pm - Afternoon Shift (Lunch provided) 6:00am-6:00pm - All day Shift (Breakfast & Lunch provided)

There is currently a hunger epidemic in the United States that has been magnified by the economic climate. It’s estimated that there are 14 million children that risk going hungry this year in our country. The crisis is evident in the drastic increase of children that rely on free and reduced cost meals in our schools. Many of these kids go hungry at night or even for an entire weekend. Childhood hunger causes devastating effects including stunted educational development.
