Want to make a difference in your community my becoming a peer educator?
Teen Council is Planned Parenthood's award winning peer education program. Teen Council members meet weekly in Bremerton during the school year to become experts on sexuality topics such as birth control, sexually transmitted infections, healthy relationships, consent, and more! Teens then take that knowledge and teach their peers in local classrooms. Members also act as a resource of information for their peers, families, and communities.
Don't have any public speaking or sex-ed experience? That's okay! Members learn everything they'll need to be amazing educators and advocates by participating in the program. Offering over 70 hours of volunteer time, Teen Council is a wealth of information and looks great on applications.

Please note: Teen Council applicants must be entering 10th, 11th, or 12th grade in the Fall. Home/alternate equivalent works too!
