Sustain Micro Enterprise works with women who run small businesses every day. Through our microfinance and women empowerment program, the women receive small loans and business skills to further their small businesses. The small businesses include retail shops, grocery, bakery, farming among others.

Small business Trainer is very instrumental in this program as he/she ensure the transfer of business skills to the vulnerable women. The volunteer therefore specifically offers business skills training, helps women to build business plans and enables the women to get started on their journey to establishing sustainable businesses-:

Duties and Responsibilities for the Volunteer:

  • Provide Business training to women in community groups
  • Mobilise women groups for training
  • Make business visitations to women businesses to offer on business support
  • Develop cash flows with individual women
  • Help women to develop business plans unique to each women and business
  • Awards certificates and preside over women graduations
  • Advise women on the best businesses to establish
  • Help women to get started on their journeys to establishing sustainable small businesses
