We are looking for someone who loves making crafts and would enjoy teaching our folks on Wednesday afternoons at 3:30 until 4:30. We are in need of a volunteer to lead our classes, creating projects and activities that can include drawing, painting, making things such as finger puppets, paper plate animals, assisting our folks with any gluing, cutting paper, signing their art, or anything else they may need in realtion to the activity. This now includes advocacy and community partnership. Our goal is to maximize each individual’s independence in a community environment that fosters dignity and respect, as well as personal and spiritual growth.
Description
Noah Homes provides residential homes and services for adults with developmental disabilities. Promoting security and well being Noah exists to maximize independence by encouraging self-determination within a flourishing environment of dignity, respect, personal growth, and love. Today, there are nearly 90 men and women we like to call "the folks" celebrating life every day on these beautiful grounds.
