Family Friends acts as a support system for parents who are going through crisis situations and have their children in a Safe Families Host Family. Family Friends help by providing friendship, encouragement, and their knowledge on parenting and life to the parents. They also help by providing respite care, meals, transportation, and other small tasks for the Host Family.

Safe Families for Children strives to keep children safe during crisis situations, prevent child abuse and neglect, provide care for families in crisis, reunite families, and reduce the number of children entering the child welfare system.
Description
Safe Families for Children surrounds families in crisis with caring, compassionate community. We are a volunteer-driven movement that relies upon host families, a network of support, to open their arms, their hearts, and their homes to host vulnerable children.
